SSafe, flexible and powerful dumpers – this is what Wacker Neuson is known for. The company can refer to its long years of expertise in the development and manufacture of innovative dumpers. Specifically, on 50 years of dumper expertise.
A look at the history of dumpers at Wacker Neuson: at the turn of the millennium, Neuson Baumaschinen GmbH took over the company Ebbs & Radinger. Even at that time, the company had decades of experience in dumpers and had already been the Austrian market leader for small dumpers for some time. With the merger of then Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen AG and Wacker Construction Equipment AG, this extensive expertise came into today’s Wacker Neuson SE. With this development, one thing is of course particularly important: the employees, some of whom have been part of the company almost since the beginning of dumper history. Through their knowledge and the further development of their wealth of experience, innovative dumper solutions were and are still being developed such as, for example, the electric wheel dumper DW15e or the Dual View Dumper with rotating seat.

Since 2012, the Wacker Neuson center of expertise for dumpers and excavators, with the research, development and production areas, has been located at the Hörsching location near Linz.
In developing our dumpers, we are always thinking a step ahead. We are optimizing, on the one hand, time-tested and proven models in matters of safety, ergonomics, performance and handling. On the other hand, issues such as digitalization and electrification are playing an increasingly larger role in further development.

The electric dumper innovation
One example? The completely electric wheel dumper DW15e that works without direct exhaust emissions. Equipped with an electric motor each for the drive system and the work hydraulics respectively, output is taken on appropriately and independently as needed and energy consumption minimized. Another plus – it is extremely quiet: in comparison with the conventional model, sound levels have been reduced here by more than 20 decibels to 60 db(A)*. For the human ear, this is no more than normal room volume. Full flexibility: dumpers with a rotating seat
No room to maneuver? Material transport in a tunnel? With the Dual View Dumpers, it’s no problem. The three models DV60, DV90 and DV100 are available with a payload of six to ten metric tons. With Dual View, the entire operating and seat console can be rotated 180 degrees. This way, the operator can quite easily change the direction of view and forward travel. This means time-consuming turning and maneuvering are history. *Emission sound pressure level (LpA): this specifies the noise emission of the equipment at the working area directly assigned to it, for example in the cabin or in the operator’s cab.
